**The total length is to measure the entire necklace from end to end, including pendant and clasp.
We are all different – our neck sizes and shoulder structure vary! To get the perfect fit, measure a current necklace you own, or take a piece of string (or cord, anything flexible!) and wrap it around your neck where you desire the necklace to be – and measure with a ruler or soft measuring tape, and order accordingly.
**If you’re buying as a gift – you’re guessing! The ‘safest’ length is a 18″ chain. The most commonly ordered lengths for gifts are 16″ length chain + a 2″ extender or 18″ length chain + a 2″ extender.
Extenders/adjusters for necklaces with pendants are sold separately (and can be left separate to use with any necklace, or attached to necklace at time of purchase, or can be purchased separately later if needed!)

The Standard Shipping option is via Canada Post, and their *estimated* delivery time is 3-10 business days once shipped in Canada (oversized letterpost), and 10-12 business days once shipped to the US (small packet to USA)

Processing time + Shipping Time = estimated time to receive your package. Upgrading your shipping does not change the processing time (time it takes me to create it before shipping) – it only upgrades your shipping time. I work through orders in my queue in a chronological order (within my advertised timeframe), and then ship according to the shipping option selected.

If you would like me to ship directly to your gift recipient, put their name and address as the “shipping address.” If you would also like to include a short gift note with your order, you check off the “Gift Message” box and put your exact message there (make sure to include your name if you wish for them to know it is from you, and ensure it is text only), and then I can include your gift message with the package.

The receipt for your order is emailed to you right after your purchase, but a paper copy is not automatically included with your physical order (unless specifically requested in your order).

– – – QUALITY MATERIALS – – –

GOLD FILLED jewelry consists of a substantial layer of genuine karat gold bonded to a base core metal of brass, using extremely high temperatures and pressure. To be considered gold filled, the piece must consist of a legally regulated standard minimum percentage of genuine karat gold (1/20 of the total metal weight). I use high quality 14k or 18k gold filled materials, which exceeds the minimum industry standard. Ironically, the name “gold filled” is a slightly confusing industry name, since all of the genuine karat gold is layered on the outside, not the inside. Gold filled jewelry is hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant, and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Gold filled is NOT the same as gold plated – gold plated items often do not consist of any actual gold (and if it does, it is in microscopic amounts). All of my jewelry is free of toxic heavy metals (like nickel, cadmium and lead) which are often found in jewelry with plated finishes. Both yellow gold filled and rose gold filled contain karat gold, but it is the combination of metals that are added to the alloy that change the colour to either “yellow” or “rose”. Rose alloy is a mix of gold and copper, to give off a unique rich colour – what some refer to as “pink or red.” Yellow alloy is a mix of gold and a lower percentage of copper, silver, zinc, etc. Gold filled is second only to solid gold in terms of quality, however the affordability of gold filled jewelry makes it much more accessible.

Gold Filled jewelry is one of the highest quality options for jewelry! Remember though, jewelry is composed of lovely metals, so it does best when treated carefully. You will find that with proper care, the wear & tear process is much slower, and your jewelry’s beauty and longevity will be best maintained. Care tips are included with each purchase! The basics: avoid excess exposure to moisture, and keep from contact with chemicals from products such as perfumes, oils, creams, soaps, shampoos, sunscreens, and sprays. Avoid wearing in swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, and salt water. Polish regularly with the polishing cloth included. When not wearing, store airtight. Go ahead and wear your jewelry regularly – your piece was made with love and meant to be worn with love!

Layering necklaces is the absolute best!
All of my pieces are perfect to be worn solo, or layered with eachother for a pretty but subtle statement. Leaving 2-4″ between each necklace is pretty common, but definitely not a hard and fast rule! It comes down to preference and what styles you’re combining. Always make
sure to measure yourself to get your perfect fit!
