This is a solid gold ring constructed using pure 24k gold.

I start with refined .999 pure gold and melt it to red hot liquid metal, then forge it into a bar which is painstakingly rolled and hammered into the finished ring you see.

The brilliance of pure 24k (99.9% gold content) gold is unmistakable. The rich color stands out from most standard jewelry that is made from 14k (58.3% gold content) and 18k (75% gold content) jewelry.

The band is flat with a hammered texture. It is 5mm wide and 1mm thick. Weights vary depending on your size selection and are priced accordingly. (The ring in the photos is a size 10.5 and weighs about 5.7 grams.)

Each ring is made to order so there will be very slight variations from what you see here, but I strive for these dimensions and texture that you see in these photos.

This rings has a subtle hammered texture with a brushed finish which highlights the brilliant rich color of the pure gold. And while pure gold is a naturally soft metal, the thickness and shape of this piece provides rigidity and overall wearability.
