Gold-filled jewelry consists of an actual thick layer of gold that is pressure bonded to a base metal. Gold-filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold. It is tarnish resistant and carries more value than gold-plating. If properly cared for, your gold-filled jewelry can last a lifetime.

Gold-plated jewelry has a thin layer of gold that has been deposited onto a base metal. Gold-plated jewelry can last several years if properly cared for.

+ OUR CLASPS: Our clasps are different than others! You will NEVER struggle to get your jewelry on again. Our ‘super-magnet’ clasps are easy to open and close, but are so strong, you will never have to worry about losing your jewelry. To open, simply hold the clasps on each side, and pull apart gently. To close, get the magnet close enough and let it do its magic. Please note: Our magnetic clasps are featured on all pieces that allow us to use them. If the piece is intended to be worn or secured in a different way, we opt out of using our magnetic clasps.

+ HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LUVLACE PIECES:
Gold-filled and gold-plated jewelry are made to last a lifetime. To extend the life of your jewelry, we recommend removing them before you shower, workout, or sleep. After every wear, gently clean your jewelry with a soft cloth to restore the shine. If your jewelry needs some extra cleaning, you may soak them in warm soapy water and dry them with a soft cloth. Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing them back in their case.

+ HOW TO MEASURE YOUR NECK FOR YOUR NECKLACES + CHOKERS:
1. Take a piece of string that can wrap around your neck
2. Wrap it around your neck to exactly where you want your choker or necklace to sit
3. Cut the string and use a ruler measure your string
4. Confirm length on listing and make sure it will work for you.
Tip: You can use the same measuring method for your bracelets + anklets.
