Bar Thickness: 16 gauge / 1.2 mm

Bar Length Options: 5, 6, 7, or 8 mm (4 mm is too short for tragus and cartilage piercings. The thickness varies at each point of the ear. 6 mm is the most suitable length for cartilage and earlobe areas. If you have a smaller-than-average ear, please message for a 4 mm bar length.)

Closure: Screw Ball Back or Screw Flat Back Internally Threaded

WHICH GAUGE SHOULD I USE?

Piercing holes are often made using 110/120-micron needles. 16 gauge is the ideal thickness to prevent your piercing from wobbling in the cartilage.

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE 14 KARAT GOLD?

The ear is one of the most susceptible organs to infection. Especially if the materials used during ear piercing are not hygienic or if bacteria from the environment enter, it can lead to ear infections.

Solid gold is hypoallergenic, does not harbor bacteria, and does not oxidize.

14 Karat Gold is the strongest gold composition. Pure gold is a very soft metal and is alloyed with different metals to ensure it doesn’t deform, bend, or become prone to bumps and impacts. Although 22 and 18 Karat gold alloys contain more gold, they are softer than 14 Karat Gold and more susceptible to impacts.

In settings lower than 14 Karat (such as 9, 10, 11, 12 Karat), the gold content in the alloy is lower than other metals, making it non-hypoallergenic, more prone to oxidation, and tarnishing.

You do not need to remove 14 Karat Gold products when swimming, in the pool, shower, or while sleeping.

HOW TO CARE FOR 14 KARAT GOLD JEWELRY?

14 Karat gold does not tarnish but can accumulate dust or dirt over time, and the use of perfume, creams, etc., can cause fading. You can restore your product to its former shine and cleanliness by soaking it in a mixture of a small amount of clean drinking water and mild soap for 10 minutes. After cleaning, drying it with a paper towel or a clean cotton towel will prevent water stains on the product.
