Beautiful traditional Dorje amulet from NEPAL

A really great handiwork from Nepal! I bought few of these devotees from a Tibetan in Swayambhunath, near Kathmandu.

A dorje is shown. It symbolizes polarity, difference, opposites, up and down, black and white and the eternally male and eternally female principle. It also bundles the energy and can pass it on.

The pendant is made of brass, in the middle it was wrapped with a piece of dark red fabric. The dark red fabric looks a bit darker in nature, because the flash of the photo has lightened the color a bit. The leather strap is real, hand-cut yak leather and is approx. 90 cm long. The processing is beautiful!
