The large, round, rose cut black diamond at the center of this ring is simply stunning. Measuring 7mm in diameter, it is expertly faceted for maximum sparkle and pop. The diamond is enveloped in a 14k palladium white gold setting atop a 14k palladium white gold band. The band measures 1.2mm thick. 14k Palladium white gold contains no nickelfor this reason, it is the only type of white gold I work with. It is more expensive than traditional white gold, and the color is a little darker; it’s a bit closer to stainless steel.

A rose-cut diamond has a flat base and a crown made up of triangular facets that are symmetrically arranged and rise to form a rounded point at the top of the stone.
