A set of hammered white gold rings which would be great for couples as unique wedding bands. I start by making two plain bands from 9 carat gold and then hammer them all over to create irregular indents and a rustic texture. As the hammer strikes the surface of the metal at slightly different angles it also gives a subtle faceted shape along with some deeper notches in a random pattern. The hammer also transfers a subtle ridged texture which reminds me of gently weathered stone.
