These adorable banana slug earrings are based on the Ariolimax genus found in abundance in California. These original, digitally illustrated designs are laser-etched on cherry wood and hand-painted with realistic shading in to bring out their distinctive round bodies. Extremely lightweight and cute, these earrings will add a unique woodland vibe to your collection and make a great gift for fans of the UC Santa Cruz banana slug mascot!

These earrings feature hypoallergenic 316 surgical stainless steel studs with butterfly back closures and are sealed with a semi-gloss varnish on the front for protection and durability. The back is unstained and unsealed cherry wood.

Each piece of my jewelry is painted by hand so no two are exactly alike. I try to photograph and color-correct so that each piece represented as true-to-life as possible. All items are made with high-quality, American-sourced cherry wood. The wood tone and grain may vary from the photograph due to natural (and desirable!) variations in the wood. All paint is sealed with a non-toxic, oil-based enamel which protects the paint from fading and chipping.

Due to the handmade nature of my wooden jewelry, store in a safe place and avoid exposure to water.

My jewelry is packaged and shipped in 100% compostable plastic-free padded mailers. Every item comes in a kraft gift box with cotton padding.
